Calendar brings history to life

The Capricorn Coast Hisorical Society has been publishing a calendar since 2011 and over this period we have written short histories to accompany more than 150 photographs from the Livingstone Shire.

Our 2024 calendar features the old Keppel Bay Sailing Club Clubhouse on the cover.

With work underway on the new Convention and Sporting Hub, this building is now just a memory, a part of our community history.

Other calendar images date back to the 1907 image of Yeppoon’s first church and the short lived deepwater port of Broadmount.

Take a trip down memory lane with this historical calendar, available from the Society (email cchistsoc@yahoo.com.au) or at retail outlets: Card and Paper at Stockland, the Nextra Newsagency at Bay Plaza Yeppoon, and at selected business houses in Yeppoon.
