Rach shaves for Phelan McDermid Syndrome

The Rocky Sports Club team are proud of their own Rachel Moore, sporting her new ‘do’ (pictured) minus her long locks she shaved to raise funds for The Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation.

At special celebrations for her 30th Birthday, Rachel shaved her beautiful long hair, managing to raise an impressive $4,553.

Rachel would like to thank everyone who supported her fundraising efforts.

“Thank you so much everyone for a wonderful evening! I’m so blessed to have such amazing and generous people in my life.

Thank you so much for making it such a special and unforgettable night, and by the way, my head is feeling a little colder than usual.”

The Rocky Sports Club proudly donated $1 from every glass of beer sold at the club on the evening of June 30 to assist Rachel’s cause, rounding off 400 plus beers sold to donate $500 to support the Phelen McDermind Syndrome Foundation.
