Top quality cattle at CQLX

CQLX Combined Agents saw another strong yarding of top quality cattle for the final Kubota Weaner and Feeder Sale, with a total yarding of 3598 head comprised of 2439 Steers and 1159 Heifers.

We were greeted with a full panel of local and southern buyers with majority of cattle going to backgrounders. Cattle were drawn from Proserpine in the North, Rosedale in the South, West to Clermont and all local areas in between.

With the current market trend, Feeder steers saw a market increase of 15c/kg and the Weaner Steers seeing a 40c/kg increase.

The Feeder and Weaner Heifers saw a slight increase across the board.
