Dinner for Queensland Day

The Rockhampton and District Historical Society, Inc. is holding a Queensland Day Dinner on Sunday, 11 June, starting at 11.40am for a noon start.

The location is the Glenmore Homestead, 48 Belmont Rd, Parkhurst and cost is $30.00 each. (Cash only please).

Guest speaker is Kenrick Tucker OAM, Commonwealth Games gold and silver medallist.

Raffle tickets are available to buy. (Also cash only.)

The Rockhampton District Historical Society is a self-supporting group with a very large range of important historical information about this district.

To be able to continue this important work, the society holds an annual function to raise funds.

Last year’s function was well attended by over 50 people.

The society meets at its Borough Chambers, Stapleton Park, 16-20 Bridge Street, North Rockhampton.

Bookings for the dinner are essential for catering purposes.
