To coincide with the cooler months just around the corner, The Two Professors has released their new winter menu.
Owner Letisha Frenken said there would be a variety of new and exciting dishes among the favourite menu items.
“We’ve got a couple of new burgers for lunch,” Ms Frenken said.
“There are also more vegan and gluten-free options on the breakfast menu, which have been insanely popular.
“Most of our food products are from local producers in the Central Queensland region.
“Coming from a small cropping family, keeping farmers going by buying locally is essential.
“It may be a bit more expensive, but the quality of the product is better than buying stuff from overseas which is frozen and refrigerated for long periods.
“Whereas most of the produce we get is farm fresh.”
Ms Frenken said The Two Professors has a couple of projects in the pipeline revealing that they will open a cafe in Gracemere.
“We’ve got a fun little project which will start in July with a cafe two days a week,” she said.
“It will be at the Gracemere Saleyards catering for their events and operating on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.”
With multiple awards to its name, The Two Professors is known for its quality and service, with 14 staff members ready to take your order.
“I would like to thank my team and everyone that keeps travelling through The Two Professors,” Ms Frenken said.
“Over the last few months, as people have noticed, I haven’t been here a great deal as my little girl has been in Brisbane receiving treatment.
“It’s fantastic to know the store is running well after being away for weeks. So, thank you.”
The Two Professors is located at 49 William Street and is open seven days a week.
