This week’s photo is from the Capricorn Coast Historical Society’s glass slide selection of advertisements shown at the Roxy Picture Theatre in Yeppoon.
The Roxy in Normanby St was built in 1935 and demolished in 1978.
Note the fashion styles, the car on the hoist and the phone numbers of that era, all contained within the ad for Ross’ Garage. Even an old ad can carry interesting information from days gone by!
