After a too long break, the Chamber recommenced member meetings in Livingstone with a workshop at the Yeppoon RSL on Wednesday 15 March.

Coordinated and delivered by Craig Gibbs, the workshop was a high energy, motivational introduction to the big things that

business owners and managers need to get right.

Craig, who until recently owned and ran Aquatic Pool and Spa along with his wife Kim, has a business coaching and support

background.

The Chamber has experienced ongoing new membership in recent months.

Along with businesses that will be well known such as the Rocky Sports Club, who are gold members, Catholic Care and Coffee House Apartments, are some that may not be as well known as they operate in more niche industry areas.

GoChamp offer customised service packages include a range of workforce management, facilities management and site services, while Solution Management is a leading provider of Ostendo software which integrates custom manufacturing, jobbing, food processing,

warehousing and distribution with online financial management packages such as XERO.

Both businesses can be contacted through the Chamber in the first instance.

Other new or rebranded coastal members include Gumnut Glen Cabins, Capricorn Coast Kennels and Active Feet Yeppoon.

The Chamber strongly recommends all local businesses complete the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland 2023 Red Tape Survey. Detailed information on the various impediments to business growth is critical to CCIQ’s advocacy efforts, which are

amplified by the many Chambers around the State. Y

You don’t need to be a member to do the survey, which can be found at www.cciq.com.au/business-voice/red-tape/.

The next Chamber coffee morning will be hosted by Stanwell at the Power Station on Wednesday at 7.30am on 29 March.

Please register for this event, as catering will be provided onsite.

If you’re thinking of joining the Chamber, these sessions are a good way of meeting other business owners and managers and learning about us.

Don’t forget to specify your coffee order when you register.
