Capricorn Coast Historical Society operates out of “The Bunker”, a building provided by the Livingstone Shire Council.
It is dedicated to making our past a living history and actively seeks information regarding the history of Yeppoon and surrounding areas.
The society welcomes and encourages donation of relevant photos, documents, books and other historical items for preservation.
Original photos can be copied and returned if required.

Today’s drone photos were taken on Australia Day 2023 by members of the society, Nigel Hawke and Dan Evans.
It is significant to note the beachside Keppel Bay Sailing Club closed only a few days after the photo was taken and it is due to be redeveloped.
