Bouldy riders enjoy horsing around

The Bouldercombe Trail Horse Riders Club Inc is holding its AGM on 15 January at 5.30pm at the Kalka Hotel.

We are a recreational, not for profit, trail riding club and since 1977, we have been associated with ATHRA (Australian Trail Horse Riders Association) which enjoys an Australia wide network of horse riders.

Our club has participated in ATHRA Regional Rides and club members have travelled as far south as the Queensland border and north as far as Proserpine. Our club enjoys exploring new areas, being with our four-legged friends, and relaxing with a few laughs around the camp fire at night.

We aim to have regular day and weekend rides.

New members are welcome, and for those interested in joining our great club, they need to have a float and suitable horse, and to be able to walk, trot and canter independently. We do not teach horse riding.

For anybody who likes the outdoors without owning a horse, and is keen to enjoy the social side around the campfire, we would welcome volunteers as general camp roustabouts eg camp cooking.

New members are always welcome. Our club is governed by ATHRA protocols and safety, as well as being covered by ATHRA insurance which covers riders and property owners.

We also follow ‘The Bushman’s Code of Conduct” of leaving the place as we found it eg close the gates behind us.

We are always receptive to new rides, and would really appreciate if any property owners would consider allowing us to ride on their property.

Please phone Robbie 0427 288 545.

All new members and non-members are welcome at the AGM, and we look forward to seeing you there.
