CQLX agents saw an increase in local cattle

Combined Agents saw cattle come from areas North to Glenden and Mt Coolon and South to Baffle Creek. Picture Contributed.

CQLX Combined Agents saw a lighter yarding of 1,923 head this week, consisting of 897 Steers, 889 Heifers, 101 Cows, 14 Cows and Calves and 22 Bulls.

This week saw heavy cattle remain fairly strong across the board and lighter cattle a bit easier.

But with all that, the buyer’s panel was still strong and consistent, and all meat works buyers were in attendance.

Combined Agents saw cattle come from areas North to Glenden and Mt Coolon and South to Baffle Creek with the bigger percentage predominately local cattle.
