Krackers Bowls Club in Yeppoon had a ‘touch of the Irish’ on St Patrick’s Day.
Local ukulele players from the Flukey Ukes, part of YUM (Yeppoon Ukulele Movement) had the club patrons singing along and even dancing.
Some favourite songs included The Gypsy Rover, Danny Boy, When Irish Eyes are Smiling, Galway Girl and Fields of Athenry.
YUM meets on the second and fourth Sundays of the month from 3pm to 5pm at the Community Centre Garage in John St, Yeppoon. Beginners and more advanced players are welcome.
