Tom Edminstone was a pioneer of fishing and cruise charters on the Capricorn Coast.
He was trolling off High Peak Island when he hooked a mackerel.
Unfortunately he was pulled overboard by the fish; luckily his wife and a friend winched him back onboard, with his hat and sunglasses intact!
With the help of his wife Mary, the 31.7kg Spanish mackerel was also landed.
