Leaders at St Brendan’s

Boarding Captain Tommy Green, College Captain Jordan King and College Vice-Captain Rokoko Hunt.

St Brendan’s College Captain Jordan King says that it is always easy to tell if someone is a member of the St Brendan’s community.

He hopes to bring that same level of respect, brotherhood and honour that is associated with the SBC culture.

With a strong academic record and active participation in the College music program Jordan hopes to make a pathway into medicine by enrolling in an undergraduate course run in conjunction with CQUniversity and the University of Queensland.

He hopes to engage in a career path that will be both rewarding and challenging.

Rokoko Hunt is one of eight children and only one of them is a girl, so adjusting to boarding life was a breeze.

Entering his final year of schooling he wanted a challenge, something to push him further so he put his hand up for a leadership role.

He had no idea how much his words would impact people and is humble about his role as College Vice-Captain.

He has a solid ‘A’ academic record and has a passion for sciences with biology being his favourite subject.

He hopes to study veterinary science after this year and then return to living in the bush.

Tommy Green is the College Boarding Captain.

Raised in Emerald, he came to the College in Year 10 as a boarder, and it was soon evident he was going to flourish both in and out of the classroom.

He is a regular recipient of Academic Awards and was selected for the 1st XIII Rugby League Team last year… a time he remembers fondly.

Tommy says that being at SBC is a feeling of being a part of something bigger than himself.

While Tommy is not so sure of what his future holds, he hopes to be involved the sporting industry and will explore options over the next 12 months.
