Strong yarding for annual Nebo Weaner and Feeder Feature Sale

After a few rain affected weeks, agents saw a strong yarding come to hand for the annual Nebo Weaner and Feeder Feature Sale which also incorporated the normal fat sale.

Agents yarded 845 head, consisting of 507 Steers, 204 Heifers, 127 Cows, four Cows and Calves and one Bull.

A good yarding of local cattle, saw a high buyer attendance which included 5 processors.

Cows sat relatively firm to dearer. Heavy feeder steers sold firmly, while Brahman feeder steers sold to a dearer trend.

Weaner steers were firm throughout, with a mixture of condition.

Crossbred feeder heifers held to relative markets with weaner heifers selling in line with other local central QLD markets within the area.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY

Beeblee Brangus, sold Brangus Feeder Steers for 368c/kg, averaging 477kg to return $1,754/hd.

Note Park, Sold Very Good Quality No.4 Brahman Steers for 346c/kg, averaging 447kg to return $1,550/hd.

Melynda Roberts, Homebush Sold Very Good Quality Brahman Cross Steers for 330c/kg, to return $1,478/hd.

L and M Kister, Nebo Sold Good Brangus Steers for 338c/kg to return $1,413/hd.

C Burgess, Neb, sold Brangus Steers, for 342c/kg to return a top of $1,244/hd.

DI Symonds, Nebo Sold Brahman Steers for 342c/kg weighing 307kg to return $1,050/hd.

TB and JA Symonds, Nebo Sold Brangus Steers for 352c/kg weighing 305kg to return $1,074/hd.

Ian Goode Nebo Sold Charbray Steers for 372c/kg, weighing 243kg to return $904/hd.

Boyd’s Pastoral Nebo Sold Good Weaner Steers for 338c/kg, to return $752/hd.

Muggera Pty Ltd, Sold Prime Cows for 288c/k,g weighing 590kg to return $1,714/hd.

Louant Trading, sold Brangus Heifers for 300c/k,g averaging 336kg to return $,1010/hd.

TB and JA Symonds, Nebo Sold Brangus Cross Heifers for 280c/kg, weighing 276kg to return $775/hd.
