Members of the squadron took part in the Shipboard Safety Skill Set (SSSS) training on 29-30 June. This course is a requirement for the General Purpose Hand qualification. It included fire safety training at Coast Guard Keppel Sands, theoretical aspects of safety at Coast Guard Yeppoon, and practical water survival skills off North Keppel Island (Konomie) in Yeppoon Rescue One and Marine Assist Rescue.
