The RACQ CapRescue open day was a huge success, with the community coming out to support the emergency services.

Caitlin Buttenshaw, the Community Fundraising Officer said the day was a way to provide a fun and educational experience.

“It was the first time we had the open day at the CQUniversity baseball field, but it is an event hosted annually,” she said.

“The kids have all had big smiles and loved seeing the helicopter.”
