A large high in the eastern part of the Great Australian Bight travels east and pushes a southerly surge along the NSW coast. This triggers more storms for north-east NSW, as well as most of the south-eastern quarter of Queensland. It will reach into Central Queensland late Thursday into Friday night. (Supplied)
