Look back at sweet festival

The Capricorn Coast Historical Society submitted this photo of the Pineapple procession in 1968, which featured a 1907 Star driven by its Wowan owner Ed Uebergang. Lorraine Bangay was in the passenger seat. Barney’s Fish & Chip Shop is in the background. The Pineapple Festival later became Pinefest.
